AAA games are also releasing on iPads, not just on iPhone! (Release, Performance details, etc)
Translate
Apple's new direction in revolutionizing the gaming experience on its devices was unveiled during the recent iPhone 15 Pro announcement. Now, further details have emerged, revealing MORE compatible devices for these games! It's not just releasing for iPhones, after all!
📱Releasing for iPads as well
Games such as Death Stranding, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil 4 are not only coming for the newest iPhone, but for Apple M1/M2 Tablets as well in offering these visually stunning and graphically intensive titles ---- IF we're to follow the recent Resident Evil 4 App Store posting which showed these details.
The App Store's device requirements includes the iPad Pro 5th and 6th generations, as well as the iPad Air 5th generation (2022), which all sports the M1 and M2 chips. This move is huge because this expands the available mobile devices now that can cater to AAA gaming, and we're not locked to the newest iPhone only. This is understandable, as the M1 and M2 chips are two of the most powerful mobile chips currently existing.

💻What about MacBooks?
It's important to note that some M1/M2 devices, like the MacBook lineup, are noticeably absent from the list. They run on a different OS, the MacOS, which may explain their omission from the announcement and subsequent store postings.

Nonetheless, Resident Evil Village had already made its way to MacOS devices nearly a year ago, and the mystery has been resolved anyway, as CAPCOM has officially confirmed on their website that Resident Evil 4 is also set to launch on macOS later this year. Note that Apple has it's "Apple Game Porting Toolkit" under heavy development as well, which will allow MacBook s under Apple silicon (M1, M2) to emulate Windows games with adequate performance without the need for a proper port, much like how the Steam Deck translates Windows games into Linux.
📊Performance
As for the performance, we've seen Youtubers like Dave2D, ETA PRIME and Vincent Zhong (as seen in the screenshots, special thanks to them!) tackle at least Resident Evil Village running on the iPhone 15 Pro, and the target performance is built around 30FPS at 720p resolution, pretty impressive for a mobile device and still looks good even when plugged on a bigger screen. Of course, don't expect it to match PS5 or Xbox Series levels of visuals.

📆The Future
As the mobile gaming industry continues to evolve, Apple's dedication to providing top-tier gaming content on its devices is clear. With Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed leading the way, gamers can anticipate an exciting future filled with even more captivating titles on their favorite Apple devices, and maybe even Android phones!
