Revelation M, developed by HaoPlay and published by NetEase, is an ambitious MMORPG that has a lot of potential. We got some time with it during its CBT. Here are our two cents.
Revelation M has a very robust creation and customization system. This game is all about the role-playing aspect of MMOs and it backs that up with the myriad of customization and classing options the game provides you. It wants you to be immersed.
The world is varied, rich with lore, and pretty to look at. Combat is simple and aligns with your character class.
For negatives, it has terrible AI voice acting that takes you out of experience. Lines and dialogue rarely match up. Combat can become unresponsive at times.
Still, it’s a game with over 5 years of development and $70 million put into it. Let’s hope it pays off.
