City Island: Collections game

I love city builders. Countless hours in Simcity, Skylines and such. City Island Collections is a mobile city builder game which caters mostly to the fans of City Island series. You will be able to use buildings from all the previous game on 5 different islands, so its 5 games in one. Gameplay in City Island Collections is pretty simple. You use ingame cash to open card packs. Each card you pull is a building. There are 4 types of buildings: Residential, Entertainment, Workplace and Decoration. Residential buildings gives you population. Entertainment and Decoration ones raises population cap. Workplace is a building that produces ingame cash when there are workers (basically population). So your goal in the game is balancing the buildings to maximize the profits.

The game is great for experiencing how to build or make your own buildings or houses. I love that it has areas where you can build and also upgrade the building. The game is amazing in the way that it has lots of coins and rewards given. The graphics are good too. Since I have a lower version of mobile phone, I still get to enjoy its good quality.

The first thing that amazes me is it's an offline game, which will be something I will play to the time during my days off. The game features making a city from scratch and I'm really a fan of making the roadways to each building. Plus, the game features draw-to-get buildings, so apart from the standard buildings, you can get more amazing buildings to even make your city stunning.

This game will let you experience how to build and design your own island - there are 5 city islands initially. The graphics are smooth and your goal is to build a thriving city in the first one. Some of the buildings provide jobs, therefore you will earn cash which you can use to upgrade and finish your buildings. I also love that it provides a good amount of rewards, making it easier to upgrade the buildings.

The game gives a very chill and relaxed atmosphere. It's great if you want to play something casually and have a sense of progression. Just be prepared to wait for a long time once you get the buildings upgraded to a high level. This is more of a game you play for 10 to 15 minutes at a time and then revisit later in the day. It's nothing something I would recommend to a hardcore sim city player. The game just lacks depth and choices to make it feel fun if you like more complicated and thought-provoking city builders. The doesn't really require much thinking at all.

City Island Collections is a casuals dream when it comes to sim city style of play. The game lets you build the city of your dreams but with an easy-going approach. The game has a nice tutorial at the start to help you understand the basics and get your right into the fun. When you first start playing you only have access to the 1st island. Once you start to level up your you can unlock additionally islands to build more cities on. The game features a total of 5 different islands to build on. The problem is they are all pretty much the same looking. Only the 5th island has some distinct land layout making it clearly stand out from the rest.
