A Space for the Unbound

The most heart warming game I've ever played. It's worth the money you pay. And the PLOT TWIST is really unexpected. The Graphics : -Really good art style choice with pixel and kinda detail sprite. Music : -You can feel the atmosphere by the music.

I’m enjoying the game so far, it’s more like a visual noval type game with 90s vibes/aesthetics which I love plus the pixel art form is also my favorite in any game that has it. For what I’ve played (which is very little) I can tell that is one of those games that pulls on your heart strings 🥺💓 music is 10/10 as well. If you just want to sit and relax and just get a little bit in your feels this sit the game for you. I doubt it has any type of combat but the fact that you can kinda make decisions on it I like it too. I’ve had this game on my wishlist for a little bit and I’m glad I got it last night. I’m a huge huge fan on indie games so I’m always looking for a good new indie game to love and 🥰

It managed to jerk a tear or two from my eyes while playing, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. With its beautiful artistic backdrop of a ’90s Indonesian town and its exploration of mature themes, A Space for the Unbound is a great way to kick off 2023 if you're looking for a deep and meaningful narrative experience.

What at first glance starts out as a touching title that smells like the 90’s, evolves into a story with dark contours mixed with supernatural powers, which addresses the lives of two teenagers with a strong connection, in a city located in Indonesia. A Space for the Unbound produced by Mojiken studios, suddenly appeared on my Twitter timeline and I immediately wanted to understand what it was about. Set on a screen full of pixels, surrounded by a touching soundtrack and small notes in cutscene with anime contours, it tells the story of a boy, named Atma, who like most teenagers, although without major concerns about the subject, is trying to figure out what he wants to do with his future after finishing high school. Raya, his girlfriend, on the other hand, is quite methodical and decides to make a bucket list of activities to do with him. On that list are activities like going to the movies, having a party and inviting all of their friends, among others, which serve as a backdrop for the timeline of the denouement full of mishaps of this adventure.

A Space for the Unbound is the story of a boy and a girl — both with supernatural powers — in a slice-of-life turned fantasy romance adventure against a 90’s Indonesian backdrop. A nice change of setting from the usual Japanese-themed similar works of art, like the popular Makoto Shinkai Anime movies Your Name and Weathering with You, all embodied in video game format.
