DARKEST DAYS

the good: the core gameplay loop is pretty fun, you go around the map, clear houses from zombies, loot it up, and maybe occupy it to get extra daily gold. there's no need to worry about thirst and hunger but you have to worry about infection. each time you get hit by zombie there's a chance you might get infected. there's 3 level that increases each time you get infected and it will decrease your total health if not cured.

game is open world, has no feeding or drinking needed. All about killing zombies, raiding houses, collecting gears and resources while leveling to upgrade homebase. Has partners you can hire to accompany trough missions or send them to fetch resources. The best part is it has full controller , using my Xbox one controller.

These are my initial impressions. So for, there are a few things that stud up for me that makes this feel a bit outdated. Well not a bit but a good chunk. 1) The guns are underwhelming, and level gated, in a sense that if you shoot an enemy who's a level above you, you might as well use a water gun to tickle them. The scopes are also inaccurate. There are iron sights in many guns which are just ignored for the most part. Plus there's no impact feel.

It's just chinese state of decay but more greedy and lame with damage numbers and guns not even being as powerful as an actual gun. Shoot a zombie in the head twice? Nah shoot him twice more then he'll die. Only good thing is the cutscenes and characters but not good enough. Avoid.

Kinda meh. Feels like it could be the second "Will Smith The Game"... I'm looking at you, Undawn :) Horrible gunplay, cutscenes, zombies, pay2win elements from day one release, restricting equipment mechanics, etc... Pros: Beautiful map, interesting story, okayish graphics, map mechanics inspired/stolen from Far Cry 3.

It's an okay game inspired by state of decay but not excellent because the zombies feel janky a lot of clipping, there are no professions which is boring, the crafting system is okay but not as great as life after for player driven economy so don't expect any community market it should've been more like new world, does have some overheating issues in Android even with just high settings on latest flagship devices so needs good optimization, anti alias causes too much blur so keep that off, overall it's an Okay game didn't scratch the itch for another life after yet but it's still in beta so let's see whether the Dev's do anything good with the s, a fair warning to f2p players this game has trinity coins which unlock gacha for you which is the only gacha that drops SSR grade equipments so this game can become pay2win
